Award-winning veteran actress Angie Ferro passed away last Thursday, August 17, 2023, at the age of 86.
It was confirmed by her grandson, Joshua, to GMA News Online, who also sent details of the memorial service of the now late actress.
The memorial service of Angie Ferro will be at St. Peter Chapel in Quezon City, and her cremation will be on the 22nd of August.
Angie Ferro's recent movie, "Lola Igna" on Netflix gathered great reviews. Her last movie was the "Ang mga kaibigan ni Mama Susan", which is a movie starred by the young actor, Joshua Garcia.
She was seen on big screen with the movie "Santiago! (1970)", starred by the late Action King, Fernando Poe Jr.
Angie was also known for her amazing "Bulong" role, starred by comedian-dancer Vhong Navarro.
She was also a casting director and a script translator.
Ms. Angie Ferro was born on August 4, 1937.
Her grandson posted on social media a goodbye message, "Lola Igna"... "Pahinga ka na po", means Grandma Igna, you may now rest.
